- In Microsoft Outlook Express, select Tools > Accounts.
- On the Internet Accounts window, click the Mail tab, and then clickAdd.
- On the Internet Connect Wizard window in the Display name field enter your name as you want it to display on your emails and then, click Next.
- In the E-mail address field, enter your email address and then, clickNext.
- On the E-mail Server Names window, from the My incoming mail server is a list, select either IMAP or POP3.
- In the Incoming mail (POP3 IMAP or HTTP) server field type:
- IMAP - mail.yourdomain.com.au
POP - mail.yourdomain.com.au
- IMAP - mail.yourdomain.com.au
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, type mail.yourdomain.com.au, and then click Next.
- In the Account name and Password fields, enter your email address and password, and then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- On the Internet Accounts wizard, select the mail account you just created and click Properties.
- In the Properties window, click the Servers tab.
- Select My server requires authentication.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Use the following for Incoming Mail Settings:
- Port
- IMAP without SSL - 143
IMAP with SSL - 993
POP without SSL - 110
POP with SSL - 995 - (Optional) This server requires a secure connection (SSL)
- Select to enable
- Use the following for Outgoing Mail Settings:
- Port
- Without SSL - one of the following: 587
With SSL - 465 - (Optional) This server requires a secure connection (SSL)
